GCP Launches Project I.M.P.A.C.T. 2011

Project I.M.P.A.C.T 2011 is a GCP program to actively engage the various communities and their skills, talents, knowledge and education to inspire and motivate our youth through positive and productive achievements. You can learn more about GCP's Project I.M.P.A.C.T on our program page.

GCP sponsor’s a Teen Summit at the Adamsville Recreation Center in Atlanta, GA

GCP’s Teen Summit had speakers communicating with the youth regarding “Empowering for Success”. In addition to the speakers, GCP gave out FREE school supplies, door prizes and held contests for additional prizes.

GCP Volunteer Efforts at MedShare

GCP staff / volunteers completed community service and volunteer efforts at MedShare by filling boxes of surplus medical and surgical equipment to be shipped to hospitals and clinics in third world countries and rural United States. To learn more about MedShare please visit www.medshare.org

GCP sponsors youth aviation instruction

GCP sponsors youth to learn about aviation at the Aviation Career Enrichment (ACE) program at the Fulton County Airport – Brown Field where they took their first airplane flight.

GCP teaches at-risk girls the vocational skill of sewing

GCP teaches vocational skills (sewing) to at-risk girls in Clayton County, Georgia. The girls went on a field trip to Joanne’s Fabric Store and learned how to select and buy patterns, material and accessories. The girls learned classroom training on sewing and made long over-the-shoulder bags for themselves. The girls enjoyed learning and now have a new skill.

GCP and Ladies of Favor Give Back (I.M.P.A.C.T. 2011)...

The Youth of GCP in collaboration with Ladies of Favor give back to the community by volunteering at Hosea Feed The Hungry in Atlanta, GA. Our youth were excited and motivated to volunteer and learned valuable lessons and the reason to give back to our communities.

GCP Gives a monetary donation to one of its partners Ladies of Favor to assist in the development of disadvantaged teen girls in Metro-Atlanta through positive mentorship, increased self-esteem, leadership while promoting abstinence. GCP forms GCPUA

GCP unites its International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) at the University of Ghana to include the university local native Ghanaians to form the GCP University Alliance (GCPUA). This united effort is a strategic and necessary action to engage more of the knowledgeable, educated and concerned citizens of Ghana to assist in bringing about positive change in Ghana and globally. This united effort is both beneficial and rewarding to the International Students, local Ghanaian Students, GCP and will benefit our global society.

GCP sponsors a Community Health Awareness Fair in the Tsipasi Village in Ghana.

This Health Fair is one of the many projects that GCP has taken on in the Tsipasi Village to assist in the development of the village and assist in preventing illness, disease which sometimes lead to death.

GCP (Ghana) Celebrates its 5 Year Anniversary

GCP celebrated its 5 year anniversary of strengthening individuals and communities through education, health awareness, empowerment and social and community development. View the information and video below for additional information.

GCP collected and gave over 200 lbs of clean usable clothing to affiliate and partner Hosea Feed The Hungry to assist in the efforts of poverty alleviation and providing for those citizens in Metro-Atlanta that are in need of the basic essentials. Community Health Awareness Fair in the Tsipasi Village (Ghana)

GCP's University Alliance Visits Tsipasi Village for research for development projects.

GCP's University Alliance team along with GCP personnel in Ghana visits the Tsipasi village to give additional mosquito nets, rice and school supplies.

In addition GCPUA gathered an extensive amount of information from the village leadership for potential upcoming projects.  The current and future Tsipasi village projects will engage schools, organizations, corporations, philanthropists and humanitarians to help facilitate the much needed development for Tsipasi.   Upcoming projects include electricty to the village, agriculture development for poverty alleviation,  and access to a health clinic or hospital. 

GCP's 5 Year Anniversary Celebration in
Ghana, West-Africa

Global Civic Preservation (Ghana) celebrated its 5 Year Anniversary at the Royal Majesty Hotel in Teshie, Ghana, West-Africa.  The Executive Director from the United States spoke regarding the challenges, successes and the way forward for social and community development in Ghana as well as the importance of global awareness and exchange.

Local Ghanaian youth beneficiaries spoke and thanked Global Civic Preservation for intervening and assisting them with educational sponsorship, social skills, leadership and local and global exposure that has positvely impacted their lives.
