Sponsorship

What is sponsorship?

Sponsorship is a program that offers the opportunity for any individual, group, organization, business, corporation or church to give monetarily to facilitate the needs of those that are destitute. Sponsoring a child, family, school, community or village is a great way to assist in the social and economic development worldwide. Individuals listed and available for sponsorship must adhere to certain guidelines and regulations to continue in the program and receive the benefits. These guidelines hold each person accountable for fulfilling their goals to become productive citizens. (Ex. All children in the program must attend school)

How do I benefit from sponsorship?

Sponsorship is a great way for anyone to fulfill their civic responsibility to assist those in need. It is a rewarding experience and feels good to know that you’ve helped someone. The programs combat poverty, famine, disease, truancy and illiteracy. It provides the opportunity for empowerment and individual wellness. Sponsorship allows children the opportunity to go to school, provides for their uniforms, school supplies and meals. Sponsorship and your contributions help us as we fight against child laboring, child trafficking and child prostitution which are all very common in Ghana.

How will I know who I sponsored and how they are progressing?

Once you’ve signed up for sponsorship you will be notified via email the details of those you sponsored. You will have the opportunity to then check on their status and progress.

How will sponsored adults benefit?

Sponsorship programs for the adults offer food for the family to alleviate poverty, the opportunity to learn how to read, obtain vocational training skills, receive health, community and social awareness so that they can provide for themselves and become productive members of society. This program also keeps adults from selling their children, stops them from forcing child labor and protects and unifies the family structure as they learn and grow to become successful and productive members of society.
