Sponsorship
Sponsorship is a responsibility obligation used through contributions (monetary or in-kind) to assist in fulfilling social and economic development programs and initiatives. Sponsorship offers the opportunity for any individual, group, organization, business or corporation to give monetarily to assist our various programs and services. Sponsoring a program, child, family, school, community or village is a great way to assist in the social and economic development globally.
Sponsor a Specific Program
You may make a general donation to GCP to assist in the many operational expenses incurred by caring for our youth locally and abroad or you can make a contribution to a specific program of interest as listed:
· Global Empowerment – Our Empowerment Programs assist in the development of youth globally from an educational, social, arts, recreational and vocational skill training perspective. The empowerment programs, interaction and resources are critical to the positive development of youth of all ethnic groups and social status.
· International Exchange – Encompasses the International Pen Pal Program, International Video Sharing Program and Newspaper Swap for youth worldwide including youth in hospitals and hospices to share, learn and establish global relationships while increasing their literacy, penmanship and language.
· Food for Thought – Help us to feed and nourish the hungry local and globally. There are approximately 1.02 billion people that are malnourished worldwide (approximately 1 out of 6 people). Help us to assist others to have food for nourishment so that they can have the ability to think, learn, and work for a brighter future for themselves and their families.
· Global Community Service Projects - GCP has service projects locally and abroad. A large percentage of GCP’s Global Service Projects are related to third world countries and impoverished communities to address initiatives regarding basic education, health awareness, hunger, safety and social and economic development. These projects often address building classroom blocks, a school, a library, a community center, a computer lab, a library, a water bore-hole, or painting a school, providing electricity to a school etc. We need your assistance to help address these various issues.
· Global Health Awareness – Our Global Health Awareness program educates youth and citizens of all ages on health maintenance, Malaria, STD prevention and awareness, HIV/ AIDS, local health concerns and preventative measures, Safe Drinking Water etc. We are constantly researching and working with other organizations and government agencies (World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Center of Disease Control (CDC), Ghana AIDs Commission, Ghana Malaria Control, Ministry of Health etc.
· Child Sponsorship – You can forever positively change the life of a child that you sponsor. When sponsoring a child there is a mutual benefit for the child and you, your business, corporation or organization. Your sponsorship provides education, educational resource, food, health aid, vocational skills, youth programs and the opportunity for a chance to be successful and thrive
· Sponsor a Village, Community or Orphanage Project – Sponsor a community or village project that may consist of providing food or means of agriculture, build or stock a Health Clinic, renovate or build a school, provide school supplies, build a community center, build wells or bore holes for safe drinking water etc.
